Top Sirloin Steak With Sweet Potato and Vegetables

Top Sirloin Rub

  • 2 – 6oz Top Sirloin (ButcherBox)

  • Olive oil (we eyeball)

  • Kosher salt (to taste)

  • Black pepper (to taste)

  • Garlic powder (to taste)

Sweet Potatoes

  • 2 medium size organic sweet potatoes

Vegetables

  • Olive oil

  • Organic broccoli

  • Organic cauliflower

  • Organic carrots

Directions

  1. After steak gets to room temperature, rub steaks with oil olive and season one side with salt, pepper, and garlic.

  2. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Once pre-heated, put sweet potatoes on oven safe tray and cook for 45 minutes.

  3. Pre-heat grill to medium high heat.

  4. Once sweet potatoes have 20 minutes left, add steaks to grill (seasoned side down). Season the other side with salt, pepper, and garlic.

  5. Allow steaks to cook for 6 minutes per side.

  6. As the steaks cook, heat pan with olive oil on medium heat. Once hot, add vegetables.

  7. Remove sweet potatoes from oven and steak from grill. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.

  8. Cook vegetables until thoroughly cooked.

  9. Serve on plates and enjoy.
