About Us
Welcome to Over Dinner, a podcast born from the deep, unfiltered conversations we’ve shared at our own dinner table. What started as intimate discussions about personal growth and life’s messiness has evolved into a space where we invite you to join us as we explore the human experience — together.
Who We Are
After nearly a decade of marriage, we’re here to share our honest, unfiltered conversations about life, love, and growth as a team. We see ourselves as curious explorers of the human experience. What began as deep conversations over dinners cooked by Jarrod — where Nikki uncovered new insights about herself and shared them openly — became the foundation of this podcast. We’ve been together since 2011 and married since 2015, sharing nearly a decade of marriage (and 15 years of LIFE!) filled with growth, challenges, and plenty of memorable moments. Originally from sunny Southern California, we now call the Southeast (the Peach State) home. We’re a family of four, raising two children, including a son on the autism spectrum. We love spending time outdoors, enjoying Jarrod’s incredible home-cooked dinners, and making memories with close family and friends.
We realized early on that the real work in a relationship starts with the inner work each person does on their own. Most couples head straight to therapy to fix what’s broken between them — we did too. But through our own journey, we discovered that the key to lasting change lies in addressing the beliefs, experiences, and wounds we each carry.
We’re not here to give you advice as marriage or parenting coaches. Instead, we’re here to share our personal stories, lessons, and the transformative power of doing your own inner work. We believe that our mess is our gift, and we’re opening up our lives to share that gift with you.
